MEET THE BOARD MEMBERS
REV. KEN J. GORDON, JR., PH.D.
Ken Gordon is a pastor, global sales and marketing executive, social activist, and award-winning author whose 30-year professional career has spanned the healthcare, biotech, government, and non-profit sectors.
After graduating from The Citadel - The Military College of South Carolina in 1988 with a bachelor’s degree in international law & military affairs, he began a sales career with Coca-Cola, USA. Seeking a position in which he could positively impact the lives of others, he transitioned to the healthcare industry in 1990, launching a three decades-long career in the biotech, medical device, and laboratory equipment industry – with companies such as Baxter Healthcare, Abbott Diagnostics, Cepheid, and Sebia, where he currently serves as Director of Corporate Accounts.
In addition to his professional accomplishments, Ken has long been active in his local community. Appointed to Human Relations Commissions in Colorado and New Jersey, he was also elected School Board President, and later, Deputy Mayor, of Willingboro Township, New Jersey. After earning a Ph.D. in Christian Counseling and a Doctor of Communications from James Dussault Pentecostal Seminary, he was consecrated a pastor and has planted churches in Colorado, New Jersey, Alabama, and North Carolina. He is a Diamond Life member of the NAACP, a life-member of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, and the award-winning author of several best-selling books on faith activation, engaged fatherhood, and social justice. Ken also serves on the Board of Jazz’s Stepping Stones, a transitional home for women and children in Los Angeles, CA. He and his wife Leslie have four “adulting” children and one beautiful granddaughter. The couple lives in an empty nest with their cockapoo.
